Summary of your role:

Job Description

The Senior sonographer functions as a highly experienced practitioner, working under the delegated authority of the Centre Manager.

The Senior Sonographer’s role and responsibilities are focused on providing leadership to high quality of ultrasound examinations on our women in a reassuring manner. Activities are performed in accordance with clinic policies and procedures and applicable professional standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the sonography examination results meet the clinic standard for quality assurance before findings are released for interpretation.
  • Function as a technical or clinical leader/expert in sonography.
  • Accountable for the creation, oversight, and implementation of scanning protocols and quality control activities
  • Provide technical, image quality, and accuracy oversight for the assessment of sonography examinations.
  • Ensure that appropriate accreditation is secured and maintained.
  • Carry out quality assurance protocols and quality improvement measures.
  • Pursue and maintain cutting-edge technical and clinical updates.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with the wider MDT team

 

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive sonography education, training, and experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasound.
  • Previous private healthcare is desirable
  • Demonstrated competence in the specialty area(s) to be performed, including appropriate sonographer certification by the FMF, Society of Radiographers and Health Care Professionals Council. Where available, advanced sonographer certification should be produced .

 

Salary Range– Competitive dependent upon skills and experience.

Summary of your role:

The main duties below are not exhaustive and may evolve over time include:

Reception

  • Coordinate with reception team to ensure an error free daily performance
  • Cover reception along with other receptionists
  • Ensure internal audits are up to date (harmony and nuchal)
  • Work with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Friendly and knowledgeable patient service of the highest standards
  • Consultant and practitioner support
  • Administration and maintenance of the Ultrasound service
  • High quality administration aiming for error free targets
  • Assisting in Healthcare Assistant duties
  • Liaison and cooperative working with Consultants and other Centre staff
  • Maintaining the quality of environment

Assisting in the Healthcare Assistant duties: Ensuring consulting rooms are fully stocked with clinical stock every day in preparation for each clinic

  • Setting up rooms in preparation for procedures, such as Amniocentesis, CVS, Mirena coil, etc.
  • Maintaining knowledge of where all clinical stock is located in the Centre.
  • Familiarising yourself with the clinical needs of all the different users
  • Assisting with regular clinical stock checks and audits

Stocking and ordering of non-clinical items:

  • Ensure consulting rooms are fully stocked every day with non-clinical items in preparation for each clinic
  • Monthly ordering of all retail products, stationery, magazines, flowers, fruit and refreshments for Reception, followed by a weekly stock check.

Additional duties which may be required of you, by request from the Centre Manager and Deputy Centre Manager:

Participating in the newsletter and other project work when required.

Provision of transcription / secretarial services purchased by consultants and practitioners when requested by the Management of the Centre

  • Dictation electronic and standard audio
  • Letter writing
  • Messaging service
  • Other tasks as required

Providing support for the practice and other Consultants as requested/Support in the administration of their Practices

General

  • Ensure delivery of a high standard of customer service to both our individual patients and our clients
  • Participate in the training of new staff (where relevant)
  • To follow administration manual procedures as set down
  • To undertake any other duties that the Centre Management may so decide from time to time within the incumbent’s competency.

Over time the role may evolve within the Centre, depending on your preferences and the growth direction of the WWC and its associated activities.

Salary: From £24,000 per year depending on experience

We specialise in all aspects of women’s health from pre-conception, fertility obstetrics and gynaecology through to menopause. The Centre was founded on the principle that women and their families deserve to have value-based healthcare designed around them. About The Role


This is the perfect role for a passionate student or recent graduated passionate about social media and digital marketing. Previous experience is desirable.
You will participate in the design and implementation of content and social media strategies.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager with a primary focus on increasing brand awareness and look after all our social media channels and our online community

Brief

  • Manage and grow a social media presence
  • Manage and grow an online community on Facebook
  • Produce regular, creative and compelling content with a strong understanding of our customers
  • Brand research and competitive analysis reports
  • Extracting data from social media channels and using social media tools
  • Produce marketing assets to support campaign ideas as well as propose new marketing initiatives and
    campaign ideas
  • Measure, analyse and report on the success of all content and marketing efforts and suggest next steps
  • Seek and collate regular patient feedback and adapt new content according to feedback
