Guide to scanning in pregnancy

Midwifery care

Our midwifery services include antenatal care, postnatal care, breastfeeding support and more. You can spend time with our midwives at any point during your pregnancy and they’re always available on the phone for advice and reassurance, offering personalised birth preparation appointments, as well as care and support after you’ve had your baby.

Nutrition and care

It’s important to start taking pregnancy multivitamins, including folic acid, as soon as you discover you’re pregnant. You can buy these from the centre, as well as at any pharmacy.

We then recommend that you see an obstetrician or a midwife at around ten weeks of pregnancy, or earlier if you’re struggling with early pregnancy symptoms, like sickness.

All our consultant obstetricians offer private delivery at the Kensington Wing of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital just a few minutes away from the centre.
